Description
Applications:
Impact crushers are widely used in mining, quarrying, recycling, and construction industries to crush rock, cement, and concrete materials. They are ideal for producing a consistent and high-quality end product for concrete and asphalt production, as well as for road base and drainage materials in construction projects. Their ability to handle abrasive materials and produce a uniform product size makes them valuable in many applications.
Working Principle:
- Material Feed: Material is fed into the impact crusher from the top using a rotating feeder.
- Rotor and Hammers: Inside the crusher, a rapidly rotating rotor assembly equipped with hammers impacts the material.
- Impact and Crushing: The material is struck by the hammers, which are fixed to the rotor, and is thrown against the impact plates on the rotor for secondary crushing.
- Adjustable Output Size: The size of the final product is determined by adjusting the gap between the impact plates and the hammers.
Advantages:
- High Efficiency: Capable of producing high reduction ratios with a cubical end product.
- Versatility: Suitable for various materials including soft, medium-hard, and hard rocks.
- Low Operating Cost: Generally less expensive to operate compared to other crushers.
